Ave Bonar

For the past four years I have photographed many of the women I’ve known in Austin over the past forty years. This has been an ongoing project to document these who have meant so much to me as we have all come of age together. An exhibition of this work opened at Chez Zee today. Below is a photograph of Lulu, my valuable canine assistant, who made sure that each woman felt comfortable as she posed for my camera.
